The view from the deck of USS Kalinin Bay 
 
USN sailors are startled and some dive for cover on deck of USS Kalinin Bay, as geysers from Japanese shells erupt near their ship. The shells were fired by Cruiser Haguro or Cruiser Tone towards the end of the engagement.
